Start of the event season plus a new horse...

Well a busy few months of ups and downs. Sadly Roxy lost her foal and after a lot deliberation I have now brought her back into work and hoping she is going to stay sound. I will then start competing her at dressage again and possibly sell her. So then there is the dilemma of having paid for the stud fee for Weston Justice was finding a mare to put in foal. I briefly looked around and found this lovely mare with great breeding (Accondy x Arturo 8 lines) called Artie that I liked the look of. The next day I went to see her and loved her and a week later I picked her up and now she is happily settled in the field. I think it was all meant to be!

Jacqs went to Munstead for her first event and went brilliantly. Then both Jacqs and Treasure went to Goring Heath this weekend and were both fab. Treasure did a lovely double clear and dressage but took her steady for her first event. She'll now be heading to her first Intermediate of the season in a couple of weeks. Jacqs did her first BE100 and was really pleased with how she went.

All the youngsters are going well, Ruby is coming on nicely and will hopefully start competing in the summer along with Herbie as well.

Really excited the event season has started and hoping its going to be a good one.
